I’m sure we have all been tempted from time to time to venture into pay per click marketing, and by that same token I’m also confident that 90% of those who have tried it have failed dismally and lost a money.
Why is it so hard to make money with adwords? surely as long as you have good keywords and you write good ad copy you should at least break even, not so in fact when I first tried ppc I set aside a certain amount of cash as a budget and carefully crafted my campaign then sat back and watched it for a week. I followed what the so called gurus advised and tweaked my campaign daily, and yes I made some sales but I lost money.

Solid Google Adwords Management Skills
To manage your google search campaigns you will need to be in total control which means being able to track every click to keyword level. There are few tools available which will help you do this but I personally use prosper 202 as it is a great tool which is easy to use and best of all it’s free.

An amount of money which you can afford to lose
It is really dangerous to try to win with ppc if you can’t afford to be there, my best advice here is, before you start set aside a small budget to test with, which could be as low as $10 a day once you can see you are winning you can build your campaign accordingly.

A solid grasp of Google rules of engagement
It is not good enough to simply have a great set of keywords and some cash to throw at it, google will check your page and give it a rating, this is what is known as a quality score. It is imperative that you construct your sales page with quality content and that you dont fill it with affiliate links. Also make sure that you cloak your links as google can penalize you and you also run the risk of having any commission stolen by other unscrupulous affiliates.

Using automated PPC Management tools
Once you know you can make a living with Google Adwords there are some automated tools that you can use that will make your campaign management much more effective and can make a huge difference to your earning potential, my reccomendation here would be Speedppc there are others you can use, however the support and devlopment behind this tool is awesome.
There is no doubt that there are internet marketers who are making enormous somes using Google Adwords, however in general they keep what they know in a very tight community and only give away their knowledge in the form of paid tuition. So unless you have money to burn you will probably find it takes time and patience before you can grasp the full potential of Google Adwords.
